Fly High Clare Bear

I need to ask for one last favor for Little Clare Bear.

Please pray for her family as they heal. Clare joined the angels yesterday.

I am at a loss for words...There was an entry into Clare's guestbook after her passing it brought me to tears:

"She fought so very hard. Maybe harder than a little girl has ever fought before... After so long restrained in bed to machines, how exhilarating flying free in Heaven must feel. You really are an astronaut now Claire. Fly far sweet Claire. You own the skies."

If you followed Clare's story, you will know that before Clare had her Bone Marrow Transplant, she had to undergo radiation. Her heroic sister, Phoebe would go on the visits and talk to Clare over an intercom, they would play astronaut. Clare was the astronaut flying high above the Earth, and Phoebe was mission control. What a brave mission they fought. Pray for strength, comfort and peace.

Godspeed sweet Clare

Hi Marian, Jon and Josh- Well, since I wrote you last we had another Hurricane- Rita this time- but thanks to the Good Lord above, this one was not as bad for us here, and power was only out for 10 hours. Louisiana sure has a lot of devastated areas now though, and we pray that the people will get the help needed to get their lives back together. So many have lost everything. Thanks for your prayers. Ours are continuing for you too. I saw your journal article where Josh has started another chemo. We want this to work for him. God Bless Him . He is such a darlin'. I'm like you Marian. He looks precious even without hair. And he's a fighter and that is very important. You and Jon are such wonderful parents. God bless you for all you're going through. This will pay off. He is going to do well. Attitude is everything. You both, the kids and Josh, have great attitudes, but the biggest thing you all have is FAITH. God is with each of you, as you're going through this, and he will see you through it. My love to all of you. Maureen

P.S. Was sorry to hear about Claire's death. We will remember her and her family in our prayers.
